Cabbage Soup Diet - Best Recipe - You May Be Surprised!

Those of you looking for the cabbage soup diet best recipe, look no further than the original! It's worked for decades, so why mess with it? There's actually an answer to that, and I'll get to it in a second. For now, here's the original recipe:

1 head cabbage
6 large green onions
2 green bell peppers
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 bunch of celery
1 package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1-2 low sodium vegetable broth cubes
1 48 oz can of V8 juice OR 6 cups of water

Throw it all in a pot and boil on high for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer until vegetables are tender.

In case you forgot, here's the actual 7 day diet plan:

Day 1
Fruit (not bananas) and soup

Day 2
All the vegetables you want and soup. No fruit. No dry beans, peas, or corn. Eat a baked potato with a little butter at the end of the day.

Day 3
Same fruits and same vegetables as before and soup. No baked potato.

Day 4
Have up to eight bananas and as much skim milk as you want.

Day 5
Ten to twenty oz. of chicken or beef, up to 6 tomatoes, and 6-8 glasses of water.

Day 6
Beef and same vegetables as before. No baked potato. Eat soup at least once.

Day 7
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables. Don't be stingy.

Many people think I'm against the cabbage soup diet, which couldn't be further from the truth. That's because it doesn't claim to be more than it is. It's a short term solution to lose a lot of weight fast. It is NOT a long term diet.
