Three beef stew recipes

All three recipes beef stew are two things in common. All are delicious and make a perfect meal with the family Sunday.

Bavarian Beef Stew

Ingredients

1 1 / 2 kg of lean beef stew meat (cut into a bite size pieces)
1 / 2 small red cabbage (cut into 4 pieces)
1 medium onion (sliced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 + 1 / 2 cup water
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1st / 4 cup white vinegar
1 / 3 cup chopped ginger snaps
1Teaspoon ground black pepper
1 bay leaf

Preparation

In a large frying pan brown the meat in olive oil. The meat from the pot, and use the pot with the onion in the remaining n RFI cup of olive oil.
Add the meat to the onion in the saucepan and add a glass of water and spices.
Bring the mixture to meat bring to a boil, reduce heat to cover the pan and cook for one hour.
Add white vinegar and sugar for the dough to meat. Arrange the cabbagethe top of the meat, cover the pan and cook for 30 minutes giving a low heat.
Put the cabbage in a bowl and keep warm.
Strain the drippings and skim excess fat from beef. Add half a cup of water, put the bacon and cabbage with meat in a skillet with gingersnap crumbs.
Cook, stirring 10 to 15 minutes.

Stew beef meal

2 pounds lean beef tips
4 cups water
1 to 16 ounces bag of babyCarrots
6 medium potatoes (bite size) pieces
3 stalks celery (chopped)
3 / 4 cup sweet yellow onion (chopped)
2 package dry onion soup mix
1 cup frozen or canned corn

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine the water and 2 packets of dry onion soup mix. Stirring with a whisk until well combined.
Place the tips of beef in a 9x13 baking dish. Add the potatoes, carrots, celery, corn and onions.
Pour the water andOnion soup mix over the top.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours. Serves 4

BBQ marinated beef stew

Ingredients

2 pounds eye of round roast (cut into 1-inch strips)
2 cups water
3 cups barbecue sauce at home (see recipe below)

Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

1 to 12 ounces of tomato sauce
1 / 2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon ground dry mustard
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1Tablespoon onion salt
1 / 2 cup honey
1st / 4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

In a large pot combine all ingredients, bring to rapid boil slowly, 10 minutes to cook.

BEEF STEW Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Saute Pour 2 cups of water on the bottom of the pan.
Place eye of round roast in a pan.
Pour the barbecue sauce onBeginning of the roast and cook for 2 to 2.5 hours.

These three meals a stew of meat can be cooked and set in the medium 8 hours in a pot. Serve hot with fresh bread.
