Cabbage Soup - Losing Weight Without Restricting Portions

Here's some good news for dieters, it is possible to lose weight in a healthy way without restricting the amount of food you eat. The cabbage soup diet does just that. It has been accepted by the medical community and is becoming a popular way to shed unwanted pounds.

Here's how it works. The diet plan denies the body the sugary foods that it has grown accustomed to. This works to make the body convert the fatty content into energy and waste. This results in weight loss. The recipe is simple and includes low calorie vegetables and specific foods taken along with the cabbage soup on different days.

People go on the plan for a fixed number of days, typically about a week. The plan allows a person to eat as much cabbage soup as they would like to prevent them from being hungry. The soup is mostly water so they get the sensation of being full without that added calories. The additional foods included in the diet are all low in calories to ensure weight loss.

You may add nearly all types of fruit to the diet plan, as well as, tea without sugar. This is designed to decrease the dieter's hunger for unhealthy processed, fattening foods.

On some days, the dieter can include only vegetables and a small amount of tubers and butter. This day, dieters should avoid proteins and carbohydrates for maximum effectiveness.

On the following days, the plan includes lots of cabbage soup and everything they had the previous day.

The fourth day will likely be a welcome one for the dieter, because it adds a banana and milk to the regular meal of cabbage soup. The final days include meat and lots of water to remove waste from the body through urination.

The last day of the cabbage soup diet plan, the dieter can eat brown rice. They should avoid carbonated drinks that will make them feely gassy and start to crave sweets again.
