Quick and delicious cabbage and cook the carrots Outline

Sometimes you want a side dish with a meal that reminds you of grandma's kitchen. Grandmothers are a great way to set the right dish - it might be green beans with bacon, can be a zucchini, tomatoes and chickpeas in the oven, or maybe just mashed potatoes with gravy of this beautiful country. You want something warm and comforting, old-fashioned made of ingredients ... is quick and easy to prepare.

These cook cabbage and carrot side dish has alland goes great with just about any main dish, or you must be a roast chicken or baked a delicious loaf. Carrot, grated and fried, when added to a strong close to almost nutty flavor.

Cabbage and Carrot Side Dish Bake

Serves approximately four (4)

Ingredients:

3-4 slices of bacon ... sliced

Oct. 1-ounce bag shredded cabbage cups fine hair], fine or 6 times [called "angel"cabbage

2 medium onions, very thinly sliced

2 large carrots, grated

2 tbsp. Butter or margarine

Step One:

In a large skillet, crisp chopped bacon over medium-high heat. If clear, with a slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towels. Reserve bacon.

Step Two:

In the hot bacon fat, cook the chopped onions and carrots until slightly crisp on a moderately highheat.

Step three:

Add the butter in the pan, stir until melted. Add the cabbage and mix. Stir the bacon back into the mixture of cabbage. Cook until the cabbage is just soft. [The carbon will decrease the volume during cooking.]

Serve hot.

* Advanced Tip: Cook cabbage and carrot is great the next day, hot and covered with scrambled eggs.
